International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP)
The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) is an association representing more than 4,000 pharmacists, technicians, students, and members of the compounding community who focus upon the specialty practice of pharmacy compounding. Compounding pharmacists work directly with prescribers including physicians, nurse practitioners and veterinarians to create customized medication solutions for patients and animals whose healthcare needs cannot be met by manufactured medications. More than 150,000 patients and prescribers also belong to our organization via the grassroots advocacy group, Partnership for Personalized Prescriptions (P3). IACP's mission of protecting, promoting and advancing personalized medication solutions is critical for patient healthcare.

The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA)
Founded in 1898 as the National Association of Retail Druggists (NARD), NCPA represents the pharmacist owners, managers, and employees of more than 23,000 independent community pharmacies across the United States. The nation's independent pharmacies, independent pharmacy franchises, and independent chains dispense nearly half of the nation's retail prescription medicines.
The nation's independent pharmacists are small business entrepreneurs and multifaceted health care providers who represent a vital part of the United States' health care delivery system. They have roots in America's communities. They are community leaders actively involved in community-oriented public health, civic, and volunteer projects. Many hold local elected offices; others serve as state legislators.
